Details

Training relevant staff to work safely at heights is a key component of safe systems of work. Working at heights means working where there is a risk of falling from one level to another. It is a high-risk activity and a leading cause for death and serious injury.

Therefore, competency is essential for personnel who may be required to work on top of tanks or structures, scaffolding, elevated work platforms, near an edge or opening they could fall from or off a ladder (for example).

Delivery

Training can be incorporated with other critical risk tasks which include hot works, gas testing, confined space entry, work permits, hazard management and risk assessments, as part of our critical risk training course - all delivered and assessed onsite in the workplace.

Alternatively, RIIWHS204E Work safely at heights can be delivered as a stand-alone unit, in a one-two day course, depending on numbers. Student numbers per delivery are 1-14.

Fees

Fees will be quoted on request. Factors that will determine costs include:

  • Location of the workplace
  • Level of course customisation required
  • Participant numbers
