Fundamentals of Effective Team Leadership

During this 2 day workshop participants deal with a case study that gives them an opportunity to implement strategies to  identify minimum work standards, correct under performance and achieve the teams work goals while maintaining effective working relationships.  Participants will learn strategies for dealing with conflict, having difficult conversations, and setting goals and targets to improve team member performance.

  • BSBXTW401 Lead and facilitate a team

For those wishing to be assessed in the nationally recognised units the assessment tasks requires  completing and recording activities back in the workplace over a two month period.  The assessment work is structured so that participants apply the strategies they have learned during class to ensure the effectiveness and productivity of their "real world" team. 

CTS assessors support participants throughout the process with workplace visits and one to one coaching via email, skype, phone or face to face by appointment at our head office.

 

Text Book Required

Participants will need to purchase the text "Kris Cole Leadership & Management 7E" either in hard copy or as an e-book. It is recommended that students bring a laptop, iPad, tablet or other device to the course if using the e-book version. CTS can advise where to purchase the text once enrolment form is received, or you can purchase from this link.

 

Cost: $800 (GST Free) with assessment, $600 (GST Free) without assessment (PD only)
