Details

If you consider that new and young workers are 5 times more likely to be injured in their first month on the job then quality face to face training for working in the high risk construction industry makes very good sense. Learning first hand from trainers who are out on construction sites will help you understand the range of hazards you can encounter and what you need to do to keep yourself and your workmates safe on the job.

The Work Health and Safety Regulations 2022 set out mandatory requirements for the provision of construction safety induction training, for a person conducting a business or undertaking ensuring that general construction induction training is provided to workers doing construction work at a workplace in Western Australia.

The White Card meets these requirements. Anyone who is currently working on a construction site, or who wants to is required to complete this training. Students who complete this training will receive a Statement of Attainment for CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work in the construction industry and a White Card wallet card.
